today was overcast but nice temps. went for some bream, they were biting pretty good! caught 10 in a few hours. used crickets, they love that stuff. wrapped up just as the wind picked up. good vibes!
heavy rain really put a damper on my plans today. only ended up with 1 fish 😩. it was a nice 5 lb bass but i was hoping for more. equipment held up well tho! just gotta wait for a clear day to get back out there.
ugh! the rain was insane today, couldn’t fish for long. managed to catch 2 small catfish before getting drenched. used worms, they were biting but not much else. just chilled under the trees mostly. sometimes that’s all you can do!
went back to lake verret, same patchy rain mess but i was determined! landed a solid 6 lb bass on a spinnerbait! man, the thrill when it hit. got soaked but it was worth every drop! gonna sleep good tonight!
not gonna lie, it was tough today. patchy rain made things rough. caught a few small bass but nothing big. used my new topwater frog, got a few bites but they were just teasing me. wind was a bit much too. better luck next time!
