14 pass. 2 bluefin tuna (55&90 lbs). Felt like we had a really good day but when we opened the fish hold we only had 2 fish. Missed several other opportunities. Come prepared with good gear.

53 pass. 10 yellowtail. We never located the bio-mass. Did they vacate the area, or just take a day off ? This question has been pondered many times in the past and only time will tell. If you plan to fish with us tomorrow. Please call Seaforth at 619-224-3383 for more info.

We have a 1.5 day trip this weekend aboard the new boat Pride. Berkley,Penn, and other companies will be on the boat with raffles and giveaways for each passenger. 82 yellowfin 2 bluefin 19 yellowtail. When we stop on a school of tuna every bait that hits the water gets looked at by the fish. If it isn’t presented perfectly they won’t touch it. We highly recommend changing your bait often, the more presentations you make the more likely you are to make a perfect one. 20lb flouro and size 2 hooks are what worked best.

Today was better fishing. It was still a grind but we were able to get some real trophies for our last day. Pictured here we have Mic with his beautiful Yellowfin. Also we have Jim Holman and Jon Collins with their big fish of the trip! Nice Job guys!

July 28

Well that 40 to 70 pound bluefin was found today. Not by us but it was found. We're making a 160 mile move tonight so we'll be fishing hopefully catching tomorrow afternoon. Needless to say it was a slow day for us and all the other boats who went scouting. We finally had some action late on yellowfin but it was not enough to keep us there another day. Hopefully the mysterious bluefin keeps biting for weeks/months/years to come.

Polaris Supreme Trip Update 10-31-2018

Great fishing and weather today. Our success ratio was absolutely phenomenal. The grade and quality of fish course as you can see is excellent. As always it was calm in the Lee of Guadalupe Island. But today there was also know wind . Were super excited for another day tomorrow like we had today. See you then!
