Another great day of fishing out here. We had 160 rockfish 7 lings and 137 whitefish for 16 guys on the Endeavor.

83 years of good living paid off for San Diego regular Al Kish with this Limit of quality Bluefin. We landed 10 bluefin. 8 at 70 lbs 1 at 85 lbs and 1 at 130.

Hello Everyone, We just departed on our annual AHI charter. Defiantly a great group of anglers who know how to have a little fun with each as well as put some fish on the boat. At the moment we have the outdoor speaker system hooked up and secure, a beautiful load of bait aboard, and the Supreme pointed south eagerly steaming to our destination. What a wonderful day yellowtail fishing we had! Limit style as they say.They malled the surface iron, bit the yo yo good and a small slider with a nose hooked sardine worked great. The fish where 25 pounds and weather was great. We all are looking forward to a good night sleep and a repeat of today. Have a great night Tommy and Crew.

Polaris Supreme Trip Report 08-04-2016 Hello Supreme fans, We started the morning out offshore looking for a tuna school to bite to no avail. After a couple hours of that we switched gears and headed in to the beach and tried our hand at yellowtail. Our efforts were rewarded with steady action on great grade yellowtail. We also had an expected species mixed in with the yellowtail, Yellowfin tuna! As the yellowtail action continued through out the day we were able to catch steady tuna as well. The yellows were biting the typical yellowtail rigs, however they did seem more concentrated on the surface. So the flyline fisherman had the hot hand. We are proceeding north at the moment, hoping to pick up speed and maybe have a little time to fish tomorrow. What a much needed great day of fishing! The Supreme Team

 We're going to go ahead and chalk this one up as a travel day.  That's pretty much what we did today.  Starting last night.  And it was a rough one.  As soon as we got a couple hours northeast of the stones things got a bit windy and the boat started to rock.  Not good sleeping weather.  We got through it though.  Even Chef Mike got breakfast out without too much whining this morning.  Things started to smooth out a couple of hours prior to arriving to our fishing hole.  Our fishing hole didn't prove to be very productive though.  So we traveled up.  That's something you have to do on these longer trips when you fish the Rocks or the Ridge.  It's a long way down there.  So we caught a few wahoo on our travel day.

 Unfortunately the weather picked back up this afternoon and we've been scooping waves over the house steady since 3:00 or so.  Right now I turned it down swell for dinner because we have a couple hours to kill.  We're going to head back up to our tuna/wahoo honey hole from the beginning of the trip and hope for good weather.  Just two days left to fish on this trip.
       

Long sustained plunker produced 140 yellowfin tuna. Assorted line sizes from 20-40 lb is all you need.
