Lemon Bay Fishing Report

man, the storm rolled in on the 27th, thunder and everything. thought about canceling but nah. ended up catching a nice 20-inch redfish under the clouds. wild experience, but wouldn’t do it again! need sunny skies next time for sure.

yo! lemme tell you, the 26th was perfect for fishin! sun was blazing but not too hot, best conditions. caught a bunch of snapper, brought home 3 keepers. used live bait, those snapper love it! just a great day, felt so chill on the water.

went out on the 24th, weather was kinda spooky with the rain clouds, but ended up catching a couple of keeper flounders! around 17 inches. used a gulp! bait on a jig head. saw some dolphins too, just made my day! can’t wait to go again.

i knew it would be a wet one on the 11th but we went anyway. the wind was wild, like 30 km/h! still, i managed to catch a few small tarpon, like 5 lbs or so. released them all tho, too small for my liking. fishing's a gamble sometimes, right?

ugh it poured! went out on the 10th with the intention of catching fish but the rain was crazy! like, heavy showers. we only managed to catch 1 little ladyfish before we had to call it a day, so disappointing. hope the weather’s better next time!
