fished at larry's this mornin, had a blast even with the thundery weather. got there around 6am, it was super humid but not too bad. the bass were biting like crazy! i used my trusty medium-action spinning rod with a black and blue jig, and boom! snagged 5 nice ones, biggest was def over 4lbs. felt like a champ haha. clouds rolled in but it didn't stop the bite, just had to watch out for lightening. if you're headin there soon, definitely try the jigs! oh and sunrise was just beautiful, made the early wakeup worth it. couldn't stay for sunset tho, but overall a solid day! 🎣
