wow, today was a rollercoaster! thunderstorms were in the area but we caught some amazing fish. landed a massive 7lb bass just before the rain hit. had a few topwater lures that were on fire. always love the excitement of fishing in storms!
fished during the rain today, super patchy but managed a few catfish. water was murky but i used stinky bait and it worked. caught one that was 6lbs! made the day fun despite the weather. keep your rain gear handy!
cloudy day fishing at Whitney, temps were decent. we got skunked at first but finally ended up catching some nice striped bass, around 3-4lbs each! used a crankbait and that did the trick. nice to be out on the water!
hit up Whitney again, patchy rain today so it felt nice. snagged a few nice bass, biggest was 4lbs! used a rubber frog on topwater, they were hitting hard! whew, the wind was wild tho, but def worth it!
fished all day today, cloudy weather again. the bluegill were biting like crazy, caught about 15! most were small but a couple were around 2lbs. using live worms and bobbers, can't beat that. even had a thunderstorm rolling in, but we stayed dry under the trees.
