Lake Waco Fishing Report

fishing wasn’t too bad today at the lake! cloudy and cool, caught a few small bass, but lost a big one right at the boat!! my heart sank LOL. used a buzzbait, guess i need to practice my skills, but overall a chill day!

back to lake waco for another go! overcast again but didn’t mind, got a couple of nice crappies! used a minnows and they were hitting hard. also saw some cool wildlife, always love being out there. can’t wait for next weekend!

woke up this morn n thought i would give it another shot. rain was on and off and the fish were super picky. managed to snag one good catfish but that was about it. ugh, maybe next time! gonna try a different spot next trip.

today was overcast but felt nice. caught a bunch of bluegill and a couple small large mouth. had a blast! used a light rod with some soft plastics, they were munchin on it! can’t believe how fast the sunset came tho, time flew by!

fished at lake waco today, super cloudy and hot! i caught a big ol’ bass, probably around 4lbs! used a topwater frog, and man, the strike was intense! best part, it was just me and the water, felt great to unwind.
