ok, so today was epic! sunny all day, temp perfect. caught my personal best bass at 7 lbs! can you believe it? used a topwater frog, they were hitting so hard. had friends with me and we were just having a blast, laughing and catching fish. best day ever!
another sunny day on shasta! fished near the dam and landed 4 really nice bass, biggest was close to 6 lbs! used a crankbait that worked like a charm. the breeze was nice, helped keep it cool. man, this lake never disappoints!
yesterday was so nice! sunny and warm, got out for some early morning fishing. caught a few nice rainbow trout, they were hitting on the fly rod. one was bout 3 lbs. lost a couple too, ugh! but overall a sweet day and the sunset was killer!
sunny day out on shasta was perfect. caught a bunch of crappie, between 10-12 inches, all around the docks. used minnows and jigging was the way to go! even saw some bald eagles. I could do this forever, such a nice day to fish!
went out on the boat today, overcast skies but the fish were still biting. we got 6 nice large mouth bass. biggest one weighed in at 5 lbs! I used a buzzbait and it did wonders. the wind picked up a lil but that just made the fishing more fun. had a blast!
