today was pretty wild with all the rain! got soaked, but I snagged a 7lb catfish on cut bait. couldn't believe the fight it put up! so worth being out there.
man, heavy rain today! but it was still worth it. landed 2 nice bass, one was a chunky 5lbs! used a black and blue jig, seemed to do the trick despite the rain.
went out on a cloudy day, caught a few smallmouths but nothing big. they were just nibbling on my lures. good weather though, not too windy.
rainy day fishing was a blast! we just ignored how wet we got and focused on catching. ended up with a couple of nice crappies around 2lbs each on minnows! rain seems to bring 'em out.
cloudy day on the lake, the fish were a lil iffy. I threw some crankbaits around some fallen trees, got a decent 4lb largemouth though. my buddy john lost a real big one! way to go fella!
