hit crab orchard again, foggy conditions made it eerie but kinda fun! caught 4 decent perch, nothing huge but enough for dinner. used a spinner and they were biting pretty good early this morning. fog lifted but it was a cool day overall!
finally some sunshine! went out today and it was beautiful. caught a few nice largemouths, biggest was about 5 lbs. used a topwater frog, felt the excitement when it hit! what a blast! can't wait to go again!
fishing was sloooow today, overcast skies and not much going on. managed to hook 1 small catfish on a nightcrawler. released it, not worth keeping. maybe they were hiding from the clouds? just glad I got out there tho
heavy rain today but I braved it! got my rain gear on and hit the waters. caught 5 bass all around 2-4 lbs, they were definitely hungry! used a crankbait and they were hitting like crazy. soaked but it was totally worth it!
I went out for a few hours in light rain today, didn't expect much. ended up with 2 nice bluegill! they're small but tasty! used worms on a simple hook, can't go wrong with that. temps were cool but the fish were biting a bit
