the rain on the 27th was no joke! still went for it tho. only caught 1 little trout. gear was drenched, but i was just happy to be out. sometimes its about the experience and not the catch. just chilling by the water is worth it.
fished moomaw on the 25th, was super overcast but we still landed 3 nice catfish. used some chicken liver, which is always my go-to. weather was cool but good times with the fam made up for it. can’t wait to go back!
went out on the 22nd, kinda windy and cold. didn’t expect much but man, caught a pike! around 5 lbs, such a fighter. used a jerkbait, and it worked like magic. didn’t catch anything else but who cares, that one made my day.
gosh it poured on the 21st, but my dad and i braved it. got 1 big bass though, close to 4 lbs! battle was epic, used a crankbait and it was totally worth getting drenched. the wind picked up but we were pumped to get that one!
man it rained hard on the 15th but we still went out, thought we’d get lucky. ended up catching 4 bluegills but that was it. gear was all soaked, rod kept slipping from my hands lol. but hey, a fish is still a fish. still had fun with the crew.
