misty morning but I braved it out there! managed to catch a nice rainbow trout on a small spinner. it was super quiet and peaceful, just me and the water. always love those moments, even if the bite could be better. will head back next week!

today was a washout! poured rain during the whole trip. I managed to catch a few small bass, but nothing to write home about. my gear was soaked, but I guess you have to take the bad with the good. better luck next time!

man, it was windy and cold today! hit up my usual spot, didn’t see much action until late afternoon. ended up with a decent 8 lb catfish after trying different baits. can’t say I was totally happy with the chill, but hey, a fish is a fish!

today was cloudy and chilly, but I went anyway. caught a couple nice perch near the pier with my ultralight gear, just chillin and enjoying the views. nothing massive but that’s okay, sometimes it’s just about being outside, right? got some good pics too!

overcast skies but perfect for fishing! went out this afternoon and hit a jackpot with 6 big salmon! used my new trolling setup, 8 feet deep, they were biting like crazy. couldn’t believe I pulled in a 12 lb beauty! I felt like a champ! will be back for sure!
