Lake Athens Fishing Report

another overcast day at athens, but hey, still managed to catch a few! went with my buddies and we had a small competition, I ended up with 3 bass all around 2-3lbs. we used soft plastics and had a decent time despite the cloudy skies, good vibes.

finally a sunny day! went to lake athens and let me tell ya, it was a blast! caught a couple bass, biggest one was around 4 lbs on a spinnerbait. felt so good to be out in the sun, fish were super active, had a great time! can’t wait to go back.

not the best day at lake athens, it was cloudy and a bit chilly. only pulled in a small bass and a few bites here and there. tried different lures but they weren't biting like usual. maybe it's just that time of year? hope for better luck next trip!

overcast skies today at athens. didn't expect much but got lucky with a nice crappie, about 1.5 lbs! fished with minnows under a bobber, saw a few big ones swimming around too. weather was chill, had a good time.

man, today was a challenge! went to the lake for some bass but heavy rain made it tough. couldn't find anything till the afternoon, finally snagged a 2lb bass on a chatterbait. was soaked but it was worth it just to feel that tug!
