hey everyone, so today was wild! torrential rain for most of the day but I decided to brave it out at Topeka. temp was nice at about 19C but man, the wind was like, pushing me around at 27 km/h. I brought my trusty rod and a selection of soft plastics, and let me tell ya, those fish were hungry! managed to reel in 4 catfish, biggest one was like 5 lbs, which ain't too shabby for a rainy day. felt like a hero out there, dodging the rain and still catching. caught them all near the fallen trees by the shore, they were really biting when the rain would let up a bit. good times, just wish I had a raincoat! heading back out tomorrow if the weather clears up. keep your lines tight! 🎣🌧️
