jennette's pier today, man it was a mixed bag! woke up early, hit the pier right after sunrise, got some clouds and a lil rain which kept things cool. used my favorite surf rod with a fish finder rig, and tossed out some fresh shrimp. caught a couple of nice flounder, like 2-3 lbs each, and even a few pesky skates. winds picked up a bit but the fish were biting! felt real good to be out there even with the patchy rain. saw some folks land bigger catches too. all in all, good vibes, kept my spirits high. hope to go back soon. tight lines!
