jeffreys ledge Fishing Report 2025

Today was greatly disappointing after such a great fishing yesterday. Our efforts for better quality fish did not pay off. We saw great signs of 80-100 lb. fish but they just didn't want to cooperate. They would boil up good and look promising, but we only got a handful of fish. We are going to leave this place and give it time to straighten out. We are going to look for a new area. Our weather is still absolutely premium. Warm, hot and balmy. Thanks for checking in.

Hey guys:

We are still seeing plenty of yellowtail at the Coronado Islands. Our counts for the past week have been anywhere from 3 to 48 yellowtail per trip. It seems like if you get around the right school at the right time they will bite. We have seen schools at just about every spot at the islands. Today we went out with 28 passengers and caught 12 yellows. The biggest fish today was a 36 pounder caught on a fly lined sardine. Most of our fish have been in the 20 pound class and have been taken on fly lined sardines on 25 lb. and yo-yo jigs on 40 lb. The weather has been absolutely perfect. We are running everyday. Had an insane stop on Long range size Yellowfin. 3 hours later we ended up with 11 fish. Lost as many. Had 7 going at once, for our 6 anglers! Good stuff

Captain Mike Pritchard called in this morning with an update from the Tribute. So far off to a great start we have over 75 mixed fish. We have 30 Bluefin Tuna (20 to 45 pounds). We have 40 Yellowfin Tuna and a handful of Yellowtail. Extended 1.5 day trip departing at 5 PM on Friday night. We have seen some tuna up to 120 pounds caught in this zone.

Covered a lot of water and chased small spots of bluefin almost all day long. At the end of the day we only managed to land 6 bluefin from 25-80lbs. Tomorrow’s a new day.

Good evening sports fans from the bridge of the Supreme. Today was yet another day off shore. We were busy all day long bendo on tuna mostly  jumping from bird school to bird school with quite a bit of fish on the machines too. Chapparo's group always brings it every year when it comes to putting in time at the rail, even when Chef Mike nearly puts us to sleep with his thick juicy cheese burgers and homemade fries for lunch. Nobody wimped and took a nap after that big plate of food, we were all right back at it keeping the rods bent. That really sums up the day, exceptional tuna fishing and a tasty half pound rosemary chicken dinner with rice, green beans and stuffing topped with whole gralic cloves followed by bannana foster for dessert. All and all great day, beautiful weather and we hope the weather mans forecast stays true for good weather for the next 2 days. Til tomorrow friends, good night to all, and to all a good night.

45 pass. 225 yellowfin tuna 50 skipjack tuna. The entire fleet had blood running out the scuppers. Best fishing of the season is happening right now. Don’t miss out.

Hello Everyone, We are rolling down today, mainly a rigging day. We are trying to get all of our gear ready for the rest of the trip. From wire leaders to dropper loop rigs we are getting it all set up for the 7 days to come. Great food, great weather, great company. Will report again tomorrow, Team Supreme
