weather still crummy but I went out anyway. only got a couple of bites and had to call it a day early. I need to find a better spot next time. fishing can be so hit or miss, but I keep going back!
another cloudy day at Hudson, wind picked up a bit too. caught one big catfish, like 5 lbs! that was a nice surprise. used stink bait since the fish weren’t active. we had fun tho, just chilling by the water.
overcast again today, but I thought I’d give it a shot anyway. caught 2 small pike near the reeds! they were a bit shy tho. weather’s been funky, but I’m not giving up. next time I’ll bring my lucky lure!
went fishing on Sunday. partly cloudy but pretty nice out overall. managed to snag a couple of perch and one really nice bass, around 4 lbs! tried my new baitcaster, felt good to finally get it dialed in. i love fishing!
finally, a sunny break at Hudson! went early and dropped a line with my favorite spinners. caught a few sunfish and a solid 3 lb bass! feels good to finally catch something decent after that cold spell. can’t beat the sun when it’s shining!
