last Saturday was a bit wet but hey, had a great time at Hubbard. quick bites on the line, caught some nice bluegills. nothing huge but enough for a little cookout! keep an eye on the weather, it feels like spring is rolling in!
rain started while we were out but we didn’t care! snagged a couple smallmouth bass while it poured! luckily my rain jacket held up. heard it’ll clear soon, can’t wait for better weather so we can go harder.
stayed out all day today, overcast but eh, still a good mood. only caught a few small perch but I’m more about chillin by the water with friends, ya know? planning to go back for bigger fish soon!
went out again today, another sunny one! hooked a 3lb walleye, fight was crazy! my buddy lost a bigger one by the boat, we were dying laughing. it’s been a blast, can’t get enough of Hubbard right now.
what a beautiful day on the lake! everything was calm and warm, caught a nice bass about 5lbs! used a green jig and it was just ON! couldn’t believe it, felt like a pro or something haha! summer vibes are kicking in for sure!
