the rain really hit hard today, but i was out there anyway. only managed to land a small pickerel but felt good to be out. got soaked but gotta say, nothing beats fishing in the rain. gear held up well! can’t wait for the sun to come out again.
partly cloudy today and feeling good! caught 2 nice crappies, almost 2 lbs each. my friend said they were biting near the docks. we used small minnows on a bobber and it was so much fun! love this lake! 😊
had a bit of rain today while fishing but it wasn't too bad. ended up with a solid 3lb largemouth! used a topwater frog, which was a blast. the fish were a bit more active than i expected. excited for my next day out, hoping for a bigger one!
what a gorgeous day! sunny skies and i hit honeoye lake early. caught 5 bluegill but nothing over a pound. used my ultralight rod and some little grubs. the bite was pretty good in the shallow spots. can’t wait for summer when things really heat up!
man, it was pouring today! went out despite the weather and got soaked. only caught one bass, but it was 4 lbs so that was sweet! used a spinnerbait and it finally paid off after a long wait in the rain. also saw some cool ducks while waiting! 🦆
