got out on the lake in the fog, was a weird but cool vibe. caught a nice 3lb small mouth using my favorite tube bait. fished for 4 hours and it was totally worth it. just me and nature, can’t beat that feeling!
went out to canandaigua, skies were overcast and a bit breezy. not too bad tho! caught a few perch on live bait. nothing massive, just nice to be out. love those calm moments when fishing, even if the bites are slow.
had a rough day fishing, weather was all over the place! caught only one bass but it was a nice one, about 4lbs. wind was crazy, made it hard to focus. i was using a crankbait, should’ve tried a worm instead maybe?
just my luck, it poured all day while we were on the lake. we caught a few trout but nothing over 2lbs. used spinners, they work well in the rain! even tho it was gloomy, we had fun goofing around on the boat. gotta love fishing!
back to canandaigua, lotta rain on and off, but managed to land a nice 5lb walleye! used a green finesse worm on a light jighead. felt like a champ! had my rain gear on and it worked, so i was comfy. would do it again!
