partly cloudy but the bite was on today! managed to catch 4 bass, biggest was 3.5lbs! used a jig and just worked the deeper areas. water temps were nice, fish were active! so happy to be out here, feels like summer!
back to hemet on a cool overcast day. not too much action at first but then i got lucky with 2 nice trout. i was using a fly rod with some nymphs. they were chillin near the grassy edges. overall, a chill day!
finally a sunny day! hit the lake early, water was super clear. caught a nice 6lb bass, biggest one this year! used my favorite crankbait. man, this fishing game is just getting better, can't wait for more sun!
fished hemet last weekend, was cloudy but not too bad. i had a good time with my new baitcaster, caught a fat 4lb bass around noon! used a spinner with a chartreuse color. the wind was a bit annoying, but didn’t stop me!
another cloudy day at hemet lake. went out at dawn with my buddy. wasn't expecting much but ended up with 3 bass, all around 2-3lbs. used some senko worms. they were biting just before sunset, caught the last one right before dark!
