With good signs of big tuna on the lower banks - perfect for our Mag Bay trips - we have some late openings due to cancellations.

Our first trip departs Mag Bay on Nov 27, returning on Dec 4 (Tuesday to Tuesday), and will fish 6 full days right in prime big fish waters.

Looked at an incredible amount of 30-60 lb bluefin and managed to land 4. One cooperative school of 20-30 lb yellowfin where we landed 46. A few random skipjack and perfect weather.

ISLANDS ARE ON THE MEND ! 35 yellowtail (12-25 lbs) on the boat so far for just 20 anglers. Flylined Sardines on 25 & 30 lb monofilament has been the best. Stay tuned for a final report.

Plenty of bites and opportunity today as we landed 4 nice bluefin.

Tip from the crew: make sure your spectra is put on your reel properly with a line winding machine.

Polaris Supreme Trip Report 08-18-2016 Hello Everyone, Today we had a fantastic day of offshore fishing! We got on a school of big yellowfin that bit all day! The best part was the grade, an average of 50 to 80 lb fish! Amazing to have such good size biting fish in striking range from San Diego in California waters. We had a blast today bringing these fish aboard. Many people finished the day with their personal best tuna in the hold! The hot ticket was a good fresh flylined bait, and in the afternoon we hit our stride with balloon fishing. The balloon was deadly during the latter part of the afternoon. Today's trip in fantastic weather has produced trophy lingcod. We dropper loop with a mackerel seems to be doing the job. We will call back with an update later. Our next trip departs on Friday. Don't miss the action.

Hello Supreme Fans, We started our morning off at one of the lower banks. Having talked to one of our code group boats that had fair fishing on bigger grade tuna. At first light we started to catch skipjack tuna and a few grouper. By mid morning we pulled the pick and started to go look around for that boomer school, and we found one! but it was not to be for us as the school didn't want nothing to do with us. After lunch we dropped the anchor and started to get some school size tuna to bite. We stuck it out there for the rest of the day and it paid off Tom Studley hooking and landing a 110 pounder. Just before dinner we pulled the anchor and headed for the bait grounds to restock our bait supply. Wish us luck. The Supreme Team.
