misty morning at half moon bay pier, the fish weren't biting much but i did land a few small sardines. used my ultralight setup, it's the best for this kinda fishing. got soaked from the mist but whatever, still a good trip!
went fishing this morning at the pier again, still kinda gray but at least no rain! only caught a couple dinky stuff, but met some cool folks. we were sharing tips about lures and bait. sometimes it ain't about the fish, right?
fished off the pier today, same overcast crap but i love it. got 3 nice cabezon on anchovies, they were pretty tasty! felt really good to reel them in. just wish the wind hadn't been so strong, made it hard to keep my line in the water.
took my buddy to half moon bay pier, it was cloudy and a lil chilly. we tried for surf perch using sand crabs, caught a few but nothing big. the wind was crazy tho, kept blowing my line everywhere. still, great company and laughs!
was out last weekend, overcast skies but it was warm for once! used my new baitcaster, totally nailed a 4 lb halibut! it fought like crazy! lotsa folks out there, everyone seemed to be catching. felt real good to be on the water again.
