38 pass. 16 yellowfin tuna 4 skipjack. Tough day today. There was good fishing in our zone but unfortunately we missed out today. We will try again tomorrow. Come out and be the first person to ever catch a yellowfin tuna on a 3/4 day trip in December.

Hello there Polaris Supreme Fans, Our fishing day started off with Capt. Tommy stopping the boat on a mix school of Bluefin Tuna and Yellowfin Tuna!! We driffed on that school until after lunch!! The Bluefin were between 15-45lbs and the Yellowfin 12-25lbs.

After a short break we came up on a kelp that was holding everything from Yellowtail to Marlin!! which turned into a nice plunker bite that lasted until we had to head for home, another great day fishing on the Polari Supreme!!!

The 3M private charter experienced both ends of the spectrum of tuna behavior. Many non biting schools made our mid-day aggressive school very special.

"Coast Guard inspections so we are ready to go fishing!" wrote owner-skipper Tom Rothery June 1. Memorial Day weekend started off the season with the first albacore being caught (since January) and a couple of bluefin also. That has all of us on the boat excited as well as most of you. Water conditions look spectacular for the season and we hope to have some water charts on the web site soon for you to view. We are also pleased to pass on the fact that the Guadalupe permits have been granted for the next two years. I know a lot of you are looking forward to fishing there. We have our schedule on line for you to look at. Prices are the same as last year and as of right now there is no fuel surcharge. So let's hope the cost stays down. "We have two new 1 1/2 day trips that we added on and we still have some openings on some of the 4 and 5-day trips this summer. Team Supreme

Wow, absolutely phenomenal fishing on the wahoo today. We fished daybreak to dark in two main spots. Wahoo everywhere we went. Lures, bombs, bait and trolling all worked. The anglers had a fantastic time in nice calm weather. We will be checking out a couple spots tomorrow and have another full day to fish the wahoo. Today Jeff prepared wahoo enchiladas for lunch and he absolutely nailed it. They were sooo good. Wish us luck for tomorrow. Thanks, Tommy and crew

Captain Ryan Bostian checked in from the San Diego out of Seaforth Sportfishing. We have been targeting Yellowfin Tuna. Please be prepared for the bigger Bluefin Tuna too. We had excellent fishing today on nice school sized Yellowfin (18 to 25 pound). We had 41 passengers catch 133 Yellowfin Tuna. The hot rod has been 20 pound mono and 20 pound flurocarbon. Please be prepared and bring a 15 pound outfit, a 20 pound outfit and a 50 pound outfit.
