Gail Frances Fishing Report

fished early this mornin, fog was thick as pea soup! started at sunrise, around 6. got my line wet with a light spinning rod and a shrimp under a popping cork. felt like the fish were playin hide and seek. after a couple hours of nada, finally hooked into a nice speckled trout, maybe 2 lbs? then another! ended up with 4 keepers. the fog lifted around 9 and some wind picked up, but still nice out. can’t believe how hot it got tho, like, 28 degrees C! but overall, was a good day on the water. can’t wait to grill these babies tonight!
