last day at ft gibson lake on the 17th, mostly overcast which I thought would be bad. ended up finding a honey hole and caught 4 nice bass! used my old trusty topwater. what a finish!
fishing on the 16th was wild! rain was iffy, caught a ton of bluegills near the reeds. they were super active! used a light rod, it's always fun when they fight back.
on the 15th, it rained a bit but we pushed through! caught 6 bass with a white spinnerbait in shallow water. the wind picked up but we managed to stay on top of the fish. great day!
went out on the 14th, overcast but warm! didn't think we'd catch much but boy were we wrong. landed a couple nice catfish, used stink bait. feels good to get the rods bendin again!
cloudy day on the 11th, not a single bite all morning! switched to some crankbaits in the afternoon and boom, landed a 4 lb walleye! finally found the magic spot along the banks.
