👤 Mike T.hit up eleven mile canyon today, weather wasn’t too bad considering the storms rolling in. got there around 6am, sunrise was beautiful. fished with my buddy and we brought a mix of spinnerbaits and some fly gear. it was pretty chilly at first, but once the sun came up things warmed up a bit. only managed to land a couple of rainbows, but they were decent size, around 12-14 inches. had a crazy moment when a thunder crack hit while we were out there, definitely kept us on our toes! still can’t complain tho, nothing beats fishing out there. we’ll be back for sure, maybe tomorrow if the weather holds up. oh and the wind was a bit strong at times, which made casting tricky. anyway, good times, can’t wait to go again!
