edisto island Fishing Report 2025

54 passengers 6 yellowtail 80 calico bass 56 barracuda. Great summertime action taking place at the Coronado islands right now. Yellowtail are always the target species this time of year. However, almost every spot that we try to catch yellowtail at also has calico bass and barracuda. It would be a good idea to bring a 15 lb. bass rod along with your yellowtail gear.

Here’s the report and photos from Tuesday’s 2 Day trip: 41 Bluefin -28 from 60-90lbs -5 right at 100 -8 from 115-190 lbs 25 Yellowfin 20 from 25-40lbs 5 from 40-100lbs **Long drift all day. This big grade is biting the fin bait well. Bring your heavy tackle 60,80,100,130. The weather is improving so we posted a 1.5 Day trip for Thursday. 56 bluefin 42 yellowfin. Long drifts keeping 1-5 fish in the 20-50lb class going all day. Rubber banded sinkers and colt snipers reigned supreme. 40-60lb line for both techniques.

Sunday June 22 - Excellent, excellent yellowtail fishing again today. No signs of any black sea bass. We are enjoying absolutely fantastic weather. And everyone is having a great time. Thanks, Tommy and crew

Good evening everyone, Today we scouted some new area for yellowtail. With some good looking water on the satellite image we searched near and far. Spot after spot we tried long and hard, and just couldn't seem to find the condition we were looking for. Eventually we ended the day with a very low count. We still have our sights set on yellowtail for tomorrow. So we will be trying a new area tomorrow morning! Wish us luck, Team supreme

Polaris Supreme Trip Report 07-08-2016 Hello and good morning anglers. We departed today on Bill Stephens annual five-day charter with 23 happy anglers. A quick stop at the bait receivers netted us a nice load of sardines. We are currently heading south in good weather and looking forward to starting fishing tomorrow. Sept. 27
Hi Every one.
We got out with out a hitch today on our Private charter with George and the Boys. The gang includes George, Bernie, Craig, Scott,  Bryan Charlie, Jeremy, And Daniel. Our Bait is just ok  scaby and big. I am sure we will lose at least 20% before we get into 82 degree water, then who knows what will happen. Weather is Beautiful calm seas and a gorgeous sun set. We are going to go dine on prime rib stake fillets and look for squid for bait from midnight 30 till late morning wish us luck!

We are headed south at the moment. Today will consist of mainly rigging and prepping. Primarily for Yellowfin Tuna and Wahoo. We are looking for kelps today to keep them honest but our main focus is on making good speed for tomorrow.
