hit douglas lake on the 25th, oh man the rain just wouldn’t let up! but I still caught one big bass, like 5 lbs! had a good fight on a spinnerbait, but it was muddy, totally soaked by the end. can’t let some rain stop a good time!
fished on the 22nd, beautiful sunny day! caught a bunch of bluegill using worms, lots of small ones but still so much fun! bright sunshine made it a perfect day to be out. we even had a picnic afterwards!
weather was iffy but went out on the 20th anyway. caught a few catfish, nothing too big tho, maybe 2-3 lbs. used some stinky chicken livers as bait, haha! wind was really picking up too, made it tough but still had fun.
the weather was nuts on the 12th, pouring rain all day! took a chance at douglas lake, and wow it paid off! got 3 bass over 3lbs each! throwing a chartreuse crankbait did the trick! soaking wet but it was totally worth it!
realized today was gonna be wet and wild. didn't stop me tho! the rain was heavy but I managed to land a solid 4 lb largemouth! used a buzzbait, had to work hard for it but the fight was insane! if you can handle the rain, go for it!
