Hello everyone, Had another exciting day of fishing here today. A lot of action, but we were able to be a little more selective today. We were able to catch some more Yellowtail, Tuna, Dorado, Wahoo, Grouper, and Cabrilla. Another mixed bag day. Great action and variety for everyone. We will try for Yellowtail tomorrow, Team Supreme

Sunday June 22 - Excellent, excellent yellowtail fishing again today. No signs of any black sea bass. We are enjoying absolutely fantastic weather. And everyone is having a great time. Thanks, Tommy and crew

We had awesome variety this year on our 8-10 day trips. Especially the Dorado fishing on kelp patty’s! 

We departed today on a private charter with 21 passengers. We hear the weather is coming down so we are anxious to get to the fishing grounds. We should be there tomorrow morning.

Hi friends. Our morning on the Polaris Supreme started off pretty well for us. We didn't have to wake up and immediately head towards the bow and pull the sea anchor at 0530 hours. We awoke to biting Bluefin while sitting on the "sack" and picked away for an hour or so. When that dried up, we pulled the sea anchor and began our search for some more. We were successful in finding some schools but they didn't want to bite all that well for us but we did manage to capture a few more before we had to call it a trip and head towards home. Our weather has been very pleasant today as the wind has backed off and it made for a smooth ride in for our journey back to San Diego. All in all, we had a fine trip and managed to put together a nice score on the Bluefin. We're thankful the weather wasn't too bad and we're looking forward to good nights rest to gear up for our turnaround tomorrow.

So that is all. Tomorrow, we will be taking Paul Hess and friends out for five days of fun in the sun. Our ETA is around 0600 hours tomorrow. Thanks for checking in.

 

The Apollo came back from a 5 day trip fishing Guadalupe with 12 anglers and caught 95 Yellofin Tuna up to 95 pounds and 58 Yellowtail. They have space available on their 8 day ultra light load trip departing 11/13/06. Give them a call to sign up! (619) 221-8500

We departed today on Don Fischbeck's annual 5-day charter, but without our charter head Don! Don we will miss you at the rail but we will bring some fish home for you. Don't be working too hard! Today the reports off shore are slow but there is some action at a few of the islands. So we loaded up with some good looking bait and are hoping for a possitive change for the albacore. Pedro is in the galley getting ready for dinner tonight which is going to be grilled tenderloin of beef with a red wine sauce. So we will update again tomorrow. Thanks for checking in. Polaris Supreme Trip Report 07-14-2016 Our morning has started off fantastic we are having great yellowtail fishing a lot of yo-yo iron fish dropper loop fishing but not on the bottom 90 feet down and of course fly line fishing is working pretty good it's only 9:30 and we got a heck of a start on the day. Hopefully this will keep up it looks like the upper yellowfin tuna area in Mexico is really developing into something that may be in the game plan for us in the future. The trip we are out on is Archie Steele's annual five day trip the first picture is of him and his family grinding on a couple fish. Check with you later in the day. Polaris supreme crew.
