We started in the rain, loading passengers and loading bait. Now we're full steam rolling down in nice weather. There is reports of bad weather down below but we're traveling the correct direction for it not to effect us. We hope this trip is in perfect time with the perfect weather. We'll most likely start the trip off with an afternoon of yellowtail fishing before we decide on where we're going from there.

Polaris Supreme Report 07-22-2016 Happy Friday everyone! We elected to stay the night at the same place as yesterday, in hopes of another action packed day of yellowtail fishing . We got the anchor down and started fishing around 5:30, to stage ourselves for the morning hit. As the misty morning came upon us we began to hook some nice yellowtail. We were finally starting to hit our stride when the fish quit biting. As the sky cleared it seemed as the yellows did too. We tried several spots that amounted to a slow pick throughout the day. Unfortunately we finished off the day without the wall to wall action yellowtail hit we were hoping for. However we still scratched up some quality fish. We feel very fortunate to have had such a great day of fishing yesterday. After fishing hard into the early afternoon we finally set a course for Point Loma to and wrap up this great 5 day trip. We have smooth sailing for the ride up and are looking at 7:00 am at the dock. We currently have a four day online departing August 2nd that still has a couple openings. UPCOMING HOT TRIPS!!! We are planning on running some specialty trips sponsored by Berkley and Shimano These trips will be out of Santa Barbara, targeting White Seabass and/or shallow water Rockfish at the Channel Islands. They will have give aways and raffle prizes. Berkley Trips will be limited to 24 people and Shimano trips will be limited to 20 people. The variety list gets LONGER! Today we had our sights set on big numbers of quality Yellowfin Tuna. However the plan did not unfold as we expected. We found tuna but not the numbers we were looking for. Instead we were able to catch a variety of other species. Including Broom tail and Leopard Grouper, Dorado, bigger grade Yellowtail, and Wahoo. The Hess Charter we are currently fishing with was recently a 5 day trip. They increased the trip to a 7 day in hopes of a larger variety of fish species, they defiantly are getting the mixed bag now! Our sights will be on Wahoo tomorrow. Wish us luck, Team Supreme

Good morning everyone! Still battling some very very rough seas! We should be into Ensenada on time this afternoon and definitely will not be doing any fishing today. Looking forward to getting out of this weather probably by 2 o'clock or 3 o'clock this afternoon. It looks like the next trip Vernon's guys will have a nice ride down to Guadalupe on their five day. Nothing to do today but breakdown tackle and do a few boat projects.

Capt Ryan from the San Diego from their 3/4 day trip as Capt Tarro to report they caught 82 Yellowtail for the day. If your headed down south make sure to bring all your Yellowtail gear, bring a flyline rig, yoyo rig and a surface iron rig. As of right now we have a small load for tomorrow and we are are go, so come on down and get in on this action.
