Detroit Lake Fishing Report

on the 26th, it was misty but I decided to go out to the lake. not much action, just a couple small bites here and there. thought I’d try my luck with some topwater lures. the fog made the place feel magical tho. always love a peaceful day fishing.

cloudy day on the 24th was perfect for fishing! me and the boys hit the water and got a few decent size catfish, one was 5lbs! used stink bait, they couldn't resist. water was chill but the vibe was good, ya know?

heavy rain on the 17th made today tough. my friend and I braved it and fished under the overhangs. ended up getting skunked. wind was strong too, made it hard to control the boat. but hey, we had fun just hanging out. better luck next time!

fished on the 13th and it was warm, but the clouds rolled in. I didn't catch too much, some small perch. switched to a jig and had a few bites but nothing substantial. still a nice day on the water tho. weather was a bit iffy, but hey, that's fishing, right?

fishing was lit on may 11! sunny day, clear skies. got out early and hit the water with my new baitcaster - caught a nice 4lb bass. it was super fun reeling it in. was using a bluegill pattern crankbait. def gonna do this again soon!
