Back to the Islands starting tomorrow (Nov 1).  Please bring a 40 lb yo-yo setup and a 25 lb bait setup.  For all you jig fisherman.  We will be targeting yellowtail and all other gamefish. Who knows, maybe even a stray Bluefin Tuna.  Passport required.

Captain Ryan Bostian called in this morning with an update form the San Diego out of Seaforth Sportfishing. The boat is out today we haven’t heard from them yet. We caught 4 Bluefin Tuna over 100 pounds. This is once in a lifetime opportunity. We only have a handful of reservations for tomorrow. We are a definite go! Please be sure to be prepared with a heavy rod. We recommend at least a 50 pound outfit. You can also bring a lighter outfit for the Yellowtail. Listen to the audio for all tackle details. This is amazing we have fished 6 days out of 6 days. We fished 4 days in California and 2 days in Mexico and caught over half a dozen different game species. We wrapped up today in California fishing Bluefin and Yellowfin with good success. The top 3 fish at the scales will be bluefin. Thanks Tom Chaparro and gang for a great trip. Today we went out with 27 anglers and caught 30 yellowtail. These yellows have been a challenge to hook but well worth the work. The grade of this fish is as good as anybody can remember in the local waters. 25-30 pounders have become the norm rather than the exception. The wise angler would bring a 25 or 30 lb. bait rod a 40 or 50 lb. yo-yo rod as well as your surface iron rod with fresh 40 lb. Today we caught fish on all three techniques.

Today Cameron Cribben drove the boat and we had 24 passengers catch 11 Bluefin (25 to 60 pounds) plus 20 Bonito. This time of year conditions are changing fast and we need to be prepared for multiple types of gamefish. This afternoon some bluefin tuna moved into the yellowtail grounds. Good morning everyone, Today we had some good yellowtail fishing. A lot of fish around, but pretty hard to catch. Random flurries through out the day made it possible for us to be able to piece together a nice day. The fish were boiling up around the boat pretty good, but did not bite as good as we would have imagined. They must be on krill or red crab or something. Whatever they are keyed in on it is not what we have.....yet. We will give it the day tomorrow, wish us luck, Team supreme

Hello Everyone, Today we spent the first half of the day going for larger Yellowtail. There were a lot of Yellowtail around, but there was a lot of bi-catch as well. We managed to catch some Yelllowtail through the Barracuda to add some 20-30 lbers to the mix. Most of them came on the Yoyo jig the first 10 cranks off the bottom. Hoping for some Yellows tomorrow but will settle with some nice Reds and Ling cod. Wish us luck, Team Supreme
