Davis Lake Ca Fishing Report

fished on the 28th, partly cloudy but still nice. wind was a bit strong but managed to reel in a nice 4lb trout. used a casting net for bait, worked like a charm! hooked a couple more but they got away. overall, pretty solid day!

27th was awesome at davis lake! sunny and not too windy. Caught a couple decent sized bass on a topwater frog. they were super aggressive! lost one that was huge right at the boat 🙄 but still a good day. gotta love spring fishing!

went fishing at davis lake on the 24th and it was a perfect day! sunny and warm, caught around 8 fish in total. a mix of perch and trout. used my trusty old spinner. the calm wind helped a lot. couldn’t ask for a better day on the water!

super nice day on the 19th, sunny and warm! I threw a buzzbait around the shore and bam! got a chunky 3.5lb largemouth. felt like a fighter on my medium-heavy rod. lost another right after but hey, that's fishing right? went home happy!

hit the lake on the 18th, man it was cold! only caught 2 little ones but the weather was just beautiful. the wind was wild tho, made casting hard. switched to a heavier lure to keep it down. still had fun, just being out there is worth it!
