Davis Lake Ms Fishing Report

finally a sunny day at davis lake! we hit it early and caught 8 fish total, mostly panfish. weather was so nice, i forgot how good it felt to fish in the sun! used light tackle and had a blast. can’t wait to go again, this is how fishing should be

caught some nice fish today, the rain was on and off but we figured it out! got 2 big bass, 5lbs each. went with a spinner and they couldn’t resist. wind was pretty strong too but we found a good spot sheltered from it. ended up being a great day!

went out for a few hours today, and wow, the rain really came down! didn’t matter tho, caught a big ole 6lb catfish! used a heavy rod and my favorite catfish bait. it was like the fish knew it was their day to shine in the rain, lol. totally soaked but worth every drop!

had a quick trip today, weather was kinda patchy. caught a nice mix of bluegill and some smaller bass, probably around 2-3 lbs each. used a light tackle setup which was fun. felt like the sun was tryin to break through but never quite did. still a good day on the water!

fished davis right after a rain shower, it was a bit chilly but hey, the bass were hungry! got 4 on a chatterbait. they were in shallower water which was nice, i didn’t have to cast too far. even got one that was a solid 4lbs. what a blast!
