 Good evening and welcome to the Polaris Supreme. We made it out tonight on one of those day and a halfers we have all over the schedule for the next couple of weeks. We even had one lucky walk up angler who boarded us last minute. He wasn't expecting us at all. Came to fish a local boat and got the Polaris Supreme. He even was wearing our jacket. He had prime rib for dinner. So we'll be fishing tomorrow and then coming home. I'll tell you about it tomorrow.
 The final weigh ins were made. Or I should say weigh in. Justin new he stood no chance so he didn't even weigh himself. Go Mark. 225 with boots on.
 
 

Wow, what a day. Absolutely phenomenal albacore fishing.
Fun, fun, fun!! This is the best many anglers and crew alike have ever seen. We fished from daylight until they shut off at 5pm. Just like a 9-5 work day only a heck of a lot more fun. We had a break for a yummy breaded veal cutlet on top of fettuccine with fresh vegetables for lunch and dinner was a really good old St Patrick's feast of corn beef, cabbage, veggies and probably the best potatoes I have ever had with corn beef. They were cooked in some sort of mustard horseradish, and they were a standout in the meal. We are really delighted to have found Pedro. Weather is still good and we will fish tomorrow until 10am and then head off to Guadalupe for some big yellow fin!

It's time to start thinking about the summer fishing schedule. We have a couple of opportunities to offer if you want to jump on a trip. First we have two spots open on a 5 day trip departing the morning of the 24th of May and returning on the 29th. The trip is limited to 10 people. This has always been a fun trip. Capt Mike Prichard from the Tribute called in the final talley from their overnight with 148 Yellowfin Tuna from 8 - 45 lbs, some really goos fishing. We also had good Yellowtail of which we kept about 40 of the from 6 - 12 lbs with a couple in the lower 20 lb range, we also released a lot. We a also seeing al lot of Dorado around the kelps, we were not able to get any to bite today. Fishing across the board has been very good, although the Bluefin have not been around. The San Diego out of Seaforth Landing in San Diego,CA checked in with us today:

A few quick opportunities on the yoyo jigs produced 31 yellowtail. Tomorrow’s trip has been cancelled due to weather. Friday March 26 is our next trip.

Captain Ryan Bostian checked in this evening with an update from the San Diego out of Seaforth Sportfishing in Mission Bay, CA. Today we had 23 passengers catch 27 California Yellowtail, 55 Barracuda and 1 bonito. Very good mixed bag fishing. This is a good opportunity to fish on an uncrowded boat and also enjoy good fishing.

Captain Ryan Bostian check in tonight with an update from “The San Diego” out of Seaforth Sportfishing. Today we had 7 Bluefin Tuna. The only thing consistent about Bluefin Tuna is that they are inconsistent. We will try again on Wednesday.

This is amazing we have fished 6 days out of 6 days. We fished 4 days in California and 2 days in Mexico and caught over half a dozen different game species. We wrapped up today in California fishing Bluefin and Yellowfin with good success. The top 3 fish at the scales will be bluefin. Thanks Tom Chaparro and gang for a great trip.
