fished chickamauga today and wow the overcast sky made for a chill day on the water. got out around 7am with my buddy, temp was nice at 25 degrees but the fish were kinda sluggish. we were tossing some jigs and had a few bites, but only ended up with 3 decent crappie, all around 2lbs. tried some live minnows later, that was way more fun and added one more nice one to the haul. wind was super calm, so we just drifted and enjoyed the morning. sunset was stunning! always a good day on the water even when the catch is slow, right? can’t wait to grill these bad boys later tonight!
