Good evening, fellow patriots and happy 4th of July. We will never forget what this holiday means to us on the Polaris Supreme and although we aren't celebrating with fireworks, barbecues, and adult beverages, we here on THE Supreme Team will never forget what this day means to us. It's the day that we defeated the aliens. We will never forget what Bill Pullman, Randy Quaid, Jeff Goldblum and The Fresh Prince of Bel Air did for not only the country of 'Merica but also what they did for the entire world. Welcome to Earth!

How did we spend our Independence Day? Well, for me personally, I had Billy Joel's "We Didn't Start the Fire" stuck in my head, I nearly froze my bronze off (we on the Supreme call this particular event "fronzing"), I drank two cups of "The Weasel" coffee (thanks RK), and I also managed to gaff Yellowtail, de-hook Calico Bass, and shake mackerel, sardines, and lizardfish into our bait wells. As for our fishing day, it was a little on the scratchy side but we managed to make a day of it multiple coastal species. The trophy of the day goes to Richard "Raider Nation" Miller who landed what looks to be a 50 lb. White Seabass on a dropper loop. He's pumped. Him and Mark think that Raiders are going to be really good this season. We just laugh and pat them on the head and say "we're sure that they will be, son".

Anyhow, we're currently (02:15 hours of the 5th of July) en route to our next bait-making/Yellowtail area and we'll see what we can't gather up for the morning. Depending on what we do, we'll either stay and get nasty or we'll book it for greener offshore pastures. We'll see what happens and we'll report our activities tomorrow. Our weather is just fine and the passengers are all stuffed on Chef Schoolers' Shrimp/Scallop pasta dinner. Heck, Mark even decorated the cheesecake with a 4th of July flair. Impressive for a hillbilly, I know! Good job, Mark. Now stock that beer/pop cooler.

So that is all. We'll hit y'all up manana. Oh yeah, before I go. We'd like to thank our good friend and by far our most handsome and ripped relief team member Joey Freeman for calling us and giving us the Alaska Net Satellite number to the vessel Northwestern. You really screwed up with that one, Joey. Don't think for once second that Drew isn't going to get off this boat in August and drunk dial Sig. Good chatting with you anyways, bud.

Here we have Chad. Chad loves a good Monday bend. Especially when there is a big Guadalupe Yellowfin Tuna on the other end! 

12 bluefin 10 yellowfin. Saw plenty of fish but didn’t connect with the right school. Flylined baits were still the top producer.

Polaris Supreme Trip Report 09-22-2016 Today was the same but very much different. It was the same in that we woke up very tired from nighttime fishing for yellowtail last night, it was the same in that we had excellent Wahoo fishing today, it was the same in that we had great weather. What was different was the way we caught the Wahoo. It was all on the anchor. So now we have caught Wahoo on the anchor, Wahoo drifting when they wouldn't bite the jigs, and Wahoo in giant shark Malays trolling. And one other different thing we had great fishing on tuna today. We haven't seen them for a couple days but today they did us right again. We're going to start working up the line and aren't sure if we going to have any time to fish left. We got a long ways to go home! It has been an absolutely fantastic trip in absolutely beautiful weather with a great great group of anglers who are now going to take some long long naps traveling home while breaking down their Tackle. PS don't forget we have openings on our day and a half trip leaving Sunday evening at 6 PM fishing all day Monday, and returning Tuesday morning 6 AM. It was a nice warm sunny day traveling today. There is still a pretty good swell with a wind wave on top of it, but it has swung behind us and our ride is great. The guys spent the day relaxing except for George and Craig who spent the afternoon doing laps around the deck and push-ups. They probably felt they needed to work off all the home cooking we have been eating today. Huevos Rancheros for breakfast, chicken fried steak for lunch and dinner, beef stroganoff. Of course sashimi for hors d'voures. Twenty four more hours to go. See you tomorrow.

Yesterday we had good fishing on wahoo in the morning and excellent fishing on tuna in the afternoon. The average weight on the tuna ranged from 45-70 lbs. Our weather is still good. Chef Tommy put out some great meals again. Lunch yesterday was yellowtail served over fresh spinach, surrounded by black beans with a spicy avocado cilantro sauce. And dinner was cornish game hens topped with a spicy apricot sauce on wild rice with grilled asparagus on the side. Fishing this morning has started off again with wahoo biting and this afternoon we will fish the tuna again. We still have some open spots on *Sept. 8th* an 8 day trip if you want to come get some of these wahoo. Give Susan a call 619-390-7890.

OK tired of boat work! Need a little motivation To go out fishing on The Polaris Supreme? We have a 6 Day trip coming up in 2 weeks and it still has 7 openings on it! SUNDAY JUNE 25th. We will be targeting the 50 to 300lb Bluefin that are 10 to 100 miles just out side San Diego as well as all the other usual species. The following pictures are from Rick Maxa (AKA Rock Cod Rick) Of Lets Talk Hook Up Fame. These Bluefin Where all caught by Rick and his Buddy's , some as close as 9 miles. THEY WHERE NOT CAUGHT ON THE POLARIS SUPREME! THAT'S WHY WE NEED YOU ON OUR FIRST TRIP ON THE 25TH! OK now do you want to go fishing! 6 days too long? How's it going everyone, We have just wrapped up our second day of fishing. We started up the morning in prime yellowfin country. The morning began with short stops with fish being caught on the troll and live baits on the slide. After searching the area for a couple hours we were able to find what we wanted, a big school of Yellowfin tuna that were eager to come aboard the Polaris Supreme. From skip-jigs to dead bait these hungry yellowfin wanted it all. During the late morning fishing noticeably slowed, and we decided work our way out of that yellowfin zone and begin heading towards an area were we will be fishing for bigger grade Yellowtail. Filled with anticipation and a delicious chicken dinner, we all hit the sack early to be well rested for the day to come! Also on side note, we just had a spot open up on our next trip, the Beck 5 day. A great group of guys to fish with and a great time of year to fish! Tight lines, Team Supreme
