went out on 21st, had some patchy rain. used a crankbait and caught 3 nice bass! biggest was 6 lb! the wind was crazy but kept us on our toes. it was a wild ride, but the fish were def biting. felt super pumped to land that big one. can't wait to tell the guys!
it was heavy rain again today, but I still had to try! got 2 smallies, like 2lbs each, on a shaky head worm. battled the wind too, at 15 km/h it was no joke. kinda sucky weather, but the fish were around, made it worth my while. always fun fishing, even when it’s pouring!
got lucky today, hit the lake during patchy rains and snagged a fat 5lb largemouth! used a topwater frog and wow that was thrilling. felt like a real champ! water was perfect temp and the fish were biting just right. can’t wait to go again, I’m on a roll!
the rain was light today, decided to go early and hit the lake. caught a nice 4lb catfish, felt like a beast! used some stink bait I had left over. at first, I thought it was a big log until it started tugging back, haha. the weather was better than expected, just a lil drizzy here and there.
man it was pouring this morning! still went out to center hill, brought my rain gear. caught nothing but at least got some good casts in. water was super choppy! couldn't believe it. had my favorite rod, but didn’t matter. maybe next time will be better, I hope! at least got a warm coffee.
