hey y'all! so we went out to cedar key this morning, the weather was super nice, partly cloudy but not too hot. I got there around 6, just in time to watch the sunrise, man it was beautiful! used live shrimp on some 20 lb test line, really got a good setup. we were targeting snook and trout. around 8, I felt the first tug, set the hook and boom, landed a nice 24 inch snook! kept going and ended up with 3 more – all around the same size. my buddy caught a few trout too, but nothing like my snook lol. the wind picked up a bit later on but didn't mess with the bite too much. overall, just a fantastic day on the water. can't wait to go back!
