hot day fishing at canyon lake today! temp was up and the fish were biting! caught a mix of bluegill and some decent bass. didn’t use anything fancy, just a bobber and some nightcrawlers. had a couple of guys nearby who were real friendly too. great day out!

back at canyon lake today! finally sunny again, caught 5 nice bass. they were biting on crankbaits! also had a really nice chat with some fellow anglers. wind was light which helped a lot. perfect day to be out and enjoying the sunshine!

hit the lake again, cloudy and a bit windy. caught 4 bass but no monsters today. switched to a jig and that did the trick! water was muddy from the rain last week, but had a great time with my buddy just hangin out. not the best day but can't complain.

cloudy day today at canyon lake, fished from my kayak. it was pretty chill, hooked a few small mouth bass, nothing huge tho. used a spinning rod with some soft plastics. the wind picked up a little, but it was a nice escape from the city. just love being out there!

went fishing on the rainiest day of the week lol. didn’t expect much but actually got lucky and hooked a decent catfish! had my rain gear on and it paid off. only pulled in 1, but hey, it's always nice to catch in the rain. water temp was cool, but it was fun. not many folks out there today.
