hey guys, just got back from a chill day at the canal. it was overcast and a little breezy but honestly, i kinda liked it! started fishing around 7am after watching the sunrise, it was pretty beautiful. i was using a live shrimp on a 1/0 hook. hooked into a couple of snook and landed a solid 5lber! felt like forever to reel it in lol. the wind got a bit stronger but we made the best of it. also caught a few small jacks. overall, a great day out on the water, can’t wait to go back, maybe this week if the weather holds up! tight lines everyone!
