👤 Lisa M.fished the gallatin river today and wow what a day! sunny and warm, around 21c. i got on the water at sunrise 5:28 am, and by 8am, hooked 5 rainbow trout, each about 14-16 inches! used a small midge pattern, they were just biting like crazy. even got a nice one that jumped outta the water like a dolphin! couldn't believe it. the wind picked up a bit around noon, but it was still perfect weather for fishing. def gotta come back next weekend, the river is alive right now. cheers!
