fished at bogues inlet today and man, what a ride! weather was a bit crazy with those thunder clouds rollin in and the wind pickin up to 27 km/h. still, we got out there early just after sunrise at 6am. used my favorite jigging rod with a 2000 series reel and 10lb test line. caught a couple of nice flounders around 2-3 lbs, but they were super skittish because of the weather. the bite was on and off, but at least got some good photos before the storm hit. packed it in around noon when the thunder got too close. overall, it was a fun day, just gotta keep an eye on the skies next time!
