what a crazy day at belton lake! high winds and thunderstorms were around, ended up only catching one fish but it was a solid 7lb catfish! used stink bait and honestly, it was a fight just to keep the line tight with the winds. exhausting but fun!
went fishing at belton yesterday, was kinda cloudy but I think that's what helped! caught a nice 3lb bass, used a topwater frog. it was super exciting because it hit right at the edge of the weeds! definitely gonna go back soon.

belton lake was wild on the 17th! rain came down heavy but I went anyway. caught 5 bass in total, biggest was a whopper at 6lbs! used a spinnerbait, they were hungry. soaked to the bone but worth every second!
hit the lake early this mornin with my brother, just the two of us. fished till noon, caught 3 catfish, biggest was around 4lbs. used chicken liver, really effective! but man it started raining hard, so we had to pack up. still a blast!
