Beaver Lake Arkansas Fishing Report

foggy morning at beaver lake today. couldn't see much at all, but it was cool! used topwater lures, caught 2 nice largemouths. biggest was about 3.5 lbs. that fog created a cozy vibe. loved every moment, just me and the fish!

rain is still on and off. took the kayak out and floated around. caught a nice 5lb catfish on a worm! it was thrilling! the rain stopped for a bit and the sun peeked through. ended the day feeling good despite the weather.

another rainy day out here. we hit the water early but ended up with only two bass. it was tough going with the wind, had my 6'6 rod and some crankbaits but it just wasn't happening. we called it a day after a few hours.

still overcast today, tried the same spot from yesterday. no luck at all today, felt kinda defeated honestly. no bites at all. might need to change my lures up. just sitting there, listening to the rain was nice though. maybe tomorrow will be better.

overcast skies today, not ideal... but I managed to catch a few smallmouths on a white spinnerbait. they were hiding in the rocks, I guess? total of 3 fish but nothing bigger than 2 lbs. still good practice casting, I guess.
