We traveled down to do some island fishing and late in the day we got into some excellent quality yellowtail. However, it wasn't going to stop there. Our evening bite was fantastic. Absolutely beautiful big yellowtails. Most all were over 30 lbs and lots over 40 lbs. Today was a fun day to be on the water. Thanks for checking in. Tommy and crew P.S. I have three more fishing opportunities on the Apollo. Berkley will sponsoring three overnight Channel Island trips. These will be sea bass and rock fish type adventures. Captain Ryan Bostian checked in from the San Diego out of Seaforth Sportfishing. We have been targeting Yellowfin Tuna. Please be prepared for the bigger Bluefin Tuna too. We had excellent fishing today on nice school sized Yellowfin (18 to 25 pound). We had 41 passengers catch 133 Yellowfin Tuna. The hot rod has been 20 pound mono and 20 pound flurocarbon. Please be prepared and bring a 15 pound outfit, a 20 pound outfit and a 50 pound outfit.

We departed yesterday on a 3 Day open group of some Fun looking regulars and new folks. We have had to go way farther than normal to get to good fishable country but we are scratching away today. Weather is great and we are having fun. Polaris Supreme Crew.

115 yellowfin tuna 98 skipjack tuna. 80 of our yellowfin were 18-30 lbs. the rest were 10 pounders. The skipjack are extra large. Please bring a 25 lb rod and a 40 or 50 lb rod. Size #2 hooks for your 25 lb rod and size #1 for your 40 or 50 lb rod.

54 passengers 6 yellowtail 80 calico bass 56 barracuda. Great summertime action taking place at the Coronado islands right now. Yellowtail are always the target species this time of year. However, almost every spot that we try to catch yellowtail at also has calico bass and barracuda. It would be a good idea to bring a 15 lb. bass rod along with your yellowtail gear.

Good morning everyone, Just finished off loading our bounty from our beck five day charter, and man what a trip! I would like to thank Joe Beck for again putting together another successful trip. Year after year we always look forward to taking you guys out! Today we depart on our Sadie Hawkins 3 day trip. A great 3 day filled with many great fisherman and lady anglers. We just cleared the point and are excited to get fishing! Will report tonight, Team Supreme
