We returned from an 8-day trip on the day before Thanksgiving. The trip was slow overall with a few great highlights. We had one good day of tuna fishing where we landed about 75 tuna ranging in size from 15# to 75# topped with 6 fish at the end of the day which weighed from 156# to 224#. A few wahoo and good yellowtail fishing on medium grade yellows ballanced out the trip.

We're on our way home after an absolutely great day of fishing," said Mike Pritchard. "We ended up with 136 Bluefin tuna, 8 Dorado, 6 Yellowtail and 50 Skipjack. It was very, very good fishing for a 1 Day trip.

After 6 months of fishing in the deep end it was nice to shut the main engines off and enjoy the world famous Coronado Islands. I have always felt that it takes 3 days or 3 really good boats to give the islands a proper check. Today was day one of putting the puzzle together. 1 yellowtail, plenty of bonito and rockfish. A 40 lb rod, a few yoyo jigs and an assortment of torpedo sinkers.

We got a little bit of something throughout the whole day. Everywhere we went we got yellowtail, but no real bug hits. Our morning bite had great quality but not as many as yesterday. Our weather is still good because of the island. Tomorrow we will be in open water on patties looking for dorado, tuna and yellowtail. Great fresh yellowtail and shrimp scampi for dinner. Today went as planned. We fished yellowtail for a few hours in the afternoon to break up the travel time getting down below. We had to hunt a little but everybody on board got their share of tugging and pulling. We're traveling tonight toward the ridge. We should arrive in the afternoon if we don't stop prior to.

Capt Ryan Bostain called in from the San Diego, they headed offshore again however the tuna were not willing to bite. We spent most of the day in pursuit of tuna and ended they day with 12 mixed tuna, which was 9 Bluefin Tuna and 3 Yellowfin. We decided to start looking for kelp fish later in the day and found some willing Yellowtail, the final tally was 130. They were not huge, mostly from 7 to 12 pounds, plenty good enough for the many beginners to offshore fishing. Hello Everyone, Today we had another nice day of fishing. We mainly focused on better quality fish today. We were very selective on the Tuna, Yellowtail, Dorado, Wahoo, Grouper and Pargo we tagged. There was lots of life around today, of all species. With the warm water fish in our holds we are headed up the line to look for bigger grade of Yellowtail. Will report again tomorrow, Team Supreme
