 Just finishing up our three day trip here with some great local yellow fin Tuna!

We leave on our Beck eight day trip tomorrow!

Capt Ryan checked in last night from the San Diego out of Seaforth Landing with a report for yesterdays trip, we went out with 36 anglers. We ended up with 35 Yellowtail, we have had a few days of weather this last week and it dropped the water temperature. We had a lot of novice anglers today who caught their first ever Yellowtail. Everything worked today from dropper loop to surface irons, we caught a few each way today. Things are looking really good right now and it is rebounding nicely, come on down and see us we are running these trips everyday.

Absolutely a great day of fishing. From day light on we had excellent fishing on school grade yellowtail. Our weather is good and everyone is having a great time. We are off to look for tuna tomorrow. We celebrated with Alex Zarifis as he turned 80 today! Great way to spend your birthday. Thanks for checking in. Tommy and crew

Hi folks. Short day for Drew, Tommie, Mark, Jamie and myself as all we did today was drill zinc plates and tarp off the boat to prepare for the painters to spray the strontium on the bare aluminum today and the primer tomorrow. The vinyl lettering was applied to both sides of the bow and the stern today. From the looks of it, we've gone back to the old school font and color ...scheme. Instead of the lighter blue and orange which has been on the boat for the past six or seven years, the Supreme has gone back to a "royal blue" which looks moe like navy blue and orange. Things are starting to shape up and with the bait tank, bus stop and inside bulwarks hopefully being completed this week, we're looking forward to the end of our stay here in National City sometime next week.

Anyhow, short day for us today, an off day for us tomorrow for painting, and we'll be back at it on Wednesday for, you guessed it: more sanding. Take care and hopefully, everybody's Monday is treating you all kindly.

We worked hard to get our hundred fish today. Lots and lots of schools that didn't cooperate all that well. They were biting pretty good at the end with steady hook ups on the but hooked bait on the bow. We're grateful with the action and catch we got today. We'll be signing off for a little over a week. The next trip is a 7 day departing on October 7th. Take care then, bye bye now.

We are not quite into the zone yet and we have had a few stops on the jigs. It looks like there is a new body of fish moving in. These Bluefin Tuna are in the 12 to 18 pound class. We will update you later. Have a happy and safe 4th of July!

Hi friends. I just want to start off by saying that Travis Donahue our new best friend. That guy gets on the boat and the Bluefin just are drawn to this guy. He's been on the boat three times this year already and every time he's out, the Bluefin bite. It's truly amazing. This trip was no exception as he tagged along with Garth and the boys from Optima and we had ourselves a good day on 15-30 lb. Bluefin. The other boats in the area struggled but we filled the box a few times on a couple of stops and we also managed to catch three thirty pound Yellowfin off of a kelp along with some Yellowtail. Like I said, it wasn't for everyone out here but thankfully, we had Travis on the boat and everything was just fine for us on the Supreme. We also had awesome weather to round out a fun day of fishing and we're currently en route back to San Diego. We'll be back to the docks tomorrow morning around 0900 hours.  Remember yesterday I was talking about plans? Well if you read my first report of the trip I talked about dragging our feet a day and waiting for the weather to get pristine out at the Rocks. That was the master plan and well, it worked out. Today we had great weather to go along with our great wahoo fishing. We arrived to the grounds at 7:30 and we were getting steady jig strikes on wahoo to go along with jigging and baiting until about 5:30 when things around here went to bed. I really wanted 4 more wahoo for the magic number but we tried and tried and we gave up. The fish went to bed so we will too. We're now sitting on anchor getting ready to enjoy a nice sunset before eating a nice dinner. Like I said , the weather couldn't be better. We'll have a great nights sleep. We're going to try this again in the morning and take it from there. It's the last day we ever get in August of 2014 and I'm glad we spent it here.
