The Apollo came back from a 5 day trip fishing Guadalupe with 12 anglers and caught 95 Yellofin Tuna up to 95 pounds and 58 Yellowtail. They have space available on their 8 day ultra light load trip departing 11/13/06. Give them a call to sign up! (619) 221-8500

July 29

We had a descent morning and a descent evening. It was the in between part that stunk for us. From about 9 till 5 we caught and saw nothing. But in the morning it was steady stopping and after 5 we drifted catching fish until after dark so all in all I'd call it a good day. The fish were yellowfin tunas and we're still pulling on one as I write this and that's all I have to say about that. We're going to run up into American waters tonight and try for the Bluefins and the yellowfins tomorrow for our last day of this trip.

Fall is probably our favorite time of year. 2 yellowfin 6 dorado 57 yellowtail 18 skipjack.

Happy Easter! I have decided to put some ultra limited load open party trips together for fishing the northern Channel Islands this weekend. I have set up two trips on Saturday and Sunday the 10th and 11th of April. I anticipate trying to find sea bass in the morning and falling back on rock fish and ling cod for the rest of the day. These trips will be limited to only 20 people max!! This just seems to me to be such a great opportunity to get out to the islands on such a nice boat without having to deal with a crowd. The trips will depart from Sea Landing in Santa Barbara at 9pm Friday and Saturday night. The cost will be $175 per person. Please come join me and the crew aboard the Apollo next weekend. Captain Mike Pritchard called in from the Tribute last night updating us about the 1.5 day trip returning this AM. We had 72 Yellowtail (up to 40 pounds), 13 Bluefin Tuna (up to 30 pounds), and 7 Dorado. Good evening guys and gals, This morning we departed on our annual Let's Talk Hook-Up 4 day. We were able to get off the dock early and fill our tanks with some really great looking sardines. Shortly after leaving the harbor we conducted our famous tackle and fishing seminar and got right to fishing! We had pretty spectacular afternoon filled with leaping Dorado and even some big bruiser yellowtail. We really could not have asked for a better first day of fishing! Everyone had a chance to pull on some fish, which was a great way to warm up for the fishing to come! We finished off the day with a beautiful Prime Rib dinner and got to bed early to be well rested for yellow fin fishing we will be doing tomorrow! Tight lines and depleting fish tags, Team Supreme
